ECT S1542 Adhesive:
Description:
A high grade laminating adhesive
S1542 is a speciality solvent-based adhesive, which finds very extensive use in the
production of laminates.
The adhesive is used in the insulation sector where it is
used in bonding materials such as polyurethane slab stock (raw, paper or foil
faced panels), polystyrene (EPS) sheets, and phenolic material to various
substrates such as wood, various metals, and textile type materials. S1542 is not
however suitable for use in bonding plasticised PVC. For this application we
recommend one of our polyurethane adhesives.
